Meet the co-founders

Female founded & owned small business

We acknowledge the unceded and ancestral lands of the Coastal Salish - Squamish, Tsleil - Waututh & Musqueam First Nations Territories:
Skwxwú7mesh-ulh Temíx̱w (Squamish)
səl̓ilwətaɁɬ təməxʷ (Tsleil-Waututh)
šxʷməθkʷəy̓əmaɁɬ təməxʷ (Musqueam)
on which we breathe, work and live.

Our definition of success is to make an impact. An impact on the planet, an impact on our everyday well being and an impact on others.

Our goal is to make you look forward to your period
without compromising on femininity
& to break taboos around female menstruation.

We are proudly female owned & founded & proud to be handmade in Vancouver.

Delphine Veilleux // Co-Founder - Brand Vision(hair)

Delphine always asks plenty of questions to understand why. She loves to figure out what’s behind the answer and to map the solutions.

Overcoming challenges is her thing. Already in the corporate world, she was a leader in taking people in towards a common challenge. That's what she continues to do now for something with a much bigger meaning.
Raised in a family of 4 children, and surrounded by friends all her life, her sense of community is at the center of everything she does.

She is trying to get rid of ‘“yes but” in her vocabulary. Being French (from France), she is working on managing her emotions; she might never succeed.

She is obsessed with white vinegar. She uses it for everything: stains, cleaning the whole house, washing vegetables.

Her favourite piece of lingerie: a bodysuit, with or without lace. She probably owns 8 different ones. She loves that feeling of wearing feminine underwear under casual clothes, even if it is just for herself.

Her ultimate moments: being in the mountains, witnessing her 2 boys discovering the everyday world and sharing this joy together with her partner, a big table of friends with good food & nature wine.

Miriam Leckenby // Co-Founder - Design & Product Queen

Turns out Miriam loves Excel spreadsheets a lot for being a creative expert. She is a  female Sherlock Holmes when it comes to figuring out products, fabrics & sustainable solutions.

It doesn’t take much to make her day: a cozy fireplace, sunshine, beautiful trees, or snow on the ground.

Having worked in London, Dusseldorf & the Yorkshire Dales, making a life on Canada’s beautiful west coast brings her favourite things into one place, sea, mountains & a bustling city (with all the possibilities).

She left the corporate fashion world when she realized she was fighting a losing battle for sustainability in her role. She could no longer produce something that was beautiful on the outside, yet ugly on the inside and destroying our planet.

Her favourite piece of lingerie: a matching lace set. The ultimate feminine feeling of being perfectly coordinated down to your underwear, even if you’re the only one who knows it.
